My two maids of honor (who are my two greatest friends) are truly irritating me. I didn't understand it at 1st, but the only things they have been interested in are the "fun parts" of the wedding. They had been super excited to go choose out dresses, I let them pick their own, and they have been planning my bachelorette party fundamentally because I announced our engagement.
I haven't asked for a lot else of them, as I haven't wanted this to be stressful for every person. And however I now locate out that they probably won't be coming to my bridal shower. Apparently they "didn't know" what day it was and haven't been able to request that day off from work. We are still 3 weeks out. The invitations had been sent out but they say that they didn't get them. Even just a week ago we had been talking about it and I reminded them of the date. One said, "well, like 6 people have already requested that day off, so I don't feel I will get it off. How the fuck would she just magically know this off the leading of her head?
I know that they are busy, but seriously, becoming a bridesmaid isn't just about prancing around looking all fancy and enjoying the party. They are supposed to support the bride as well. Am I being ridiculous about this? I feel hurt that they can't jsut be there for me. I have confronted them, and they act like I in no way told them about it and there's absolutely nothing that can do. How would you feel in this situation?

its a wedding im certain there managers or boss or who ever would let them off for this. go confront her ask wtf is up. and about the 6 folks already leaving idk sounds like b.s
