I am hosting a bachelorette party for my friend this weekend and there are many of her friends coming that I do not know. A few of us which includes the bride are close pals and like to go out and drink and have a excellent time, but the girls I do not know are not that kind- they don't drink and was told they weren't coming if there would be naked guys. Understanding the bride genuinely wants them there, I abandoned plans of obtaining a dancer and am having to actually tone down the entire party.

The strategy for the party is to start off at my residence for some food, drinks and some games then head downtown (which only a few us us will be carrying out- the other girls are leaving when we go to the bar.) Considering that a lot of the girls won't be drinking at my property I now want some games to fill up some of the time so we aren't all just standing around akwardly.

I want the bride to nonetheless have fun and not take away from the 'bachelorette party' feel to a lot, but for the games to be tame adequate so that everyone will participate. The only 1 I know will go over well with every person is the toilet paper wedding dress competition.

Any a lot more excellent tips would be wonderful! (Also, we are all in our early 20's and she is the first to get married, so items like showing other peoples awful wedding videos won't perform for us...)

I'm a Matron of honor in a wedding. The maid of honor and I was preparing the bridal shower and bachelorette party. Our plans were to have the all 5 us (matron, maid and three bridemaids) pitch in financially to make this a fantastic occasion. Is this a poor program or is the matron and maid responsible financially for the bash?
I have been in 3 weddings and with all 3 absolutely everyone in the bridal party pitched in. Noone was left with all of the responsibility since we all wanted to bride to have a nice party. We all pitched in and helped. I'm also married and my bridal party did the exact same for me no specific individual was left organizing and paying. I just really feel like absolutely everyone pitching in is alot stressful each preparing and financially, and even though I'm the matron of honor the maid and bridemaids are the bride's sisters and they are the ones not willing to pitch in and make this a excellent event. I myself is not financially in a position to spend for the entire bash so I really do not know what to do. Does everyone have any tips on what I can do for the bride and not expense a wonderful deal?

Every single wedding that I have been in we split the cost of the bachelorette party. But, we did not contribute to the wedding shower.

I know it's usually up to the best man to program it, but becoming that it is my party, I want to plan some thing great but I'm not sure what that "some thing" is appropriate now. Ask yourself ,what do you like to do ? My husband and his buddies are very keen mountain bike riders so they went and rode mountain bikes all morning and went to one of those "cook your own steaks' restaurants for lunch then a local microbrewery right after that for drinks. A great day was had by all. Another friend is a very keen foodie and he and a couple of close buddies went to a BBQ cooking class and but an additional friend had a poker night complete with cigars and poor fattening food. They also had a BRILLIANT time :)

Assuming that you all will be drinking, present it like the bus is the designated driver, and its not totally free. Plus, parking will be easier parking 1 bus, rather than ten cars. Plus, if you go someplace where you have to pay for parking, this will just assist that.
So, they can either pay a couple of bucks to ride the party bus, or drive themselves and not drink or risk a DUI.

My hubby did an outdoors weekend in the woods/mountains. They went fishing, hiking, canoeing, camping and whitewater rafting. They pretty significantly packed what they believed they would need to have, and just drove until they wante to cease. Everynight they sat around the fire, drinking beer and just hanging out. He came back and didn't stop talking about it for months, it was exactly his style.

It all depends on what your man likes to do. My man hates the city life, so this was perfect for him :)
